Belzebass - Under Torture feat. Justrock

Very cool and menacing tune. Perhaps not perfect but at least a step in another direction than so much other stuff. Always liking the metal vibe. I think this is like, hellectro? Hellstep? Heavy Metalectro? Whatever.

Bare Noize - Prepare To Die Release!

New stuff from Bare Noize! These guys really deserve a lot more recognition, which they'll probably get now that they've got their first release on Buygore! Two biggg tracks, Prepare To Die & Twilight Zone. Really feeling Twilight Zone right now, amazing slap bass sound. Is it live recorded or is it a synth? In either of those cases it's an achievement. Got kind of a KoRn feeling going on (do they spell it KoRn? I'm not sure which letter they caps but it's atleast 1). The production is superb, all in all it's a great release. I don't think you call it EP when it's 2 tracks right? I'll call it a release.

You can buy it hereeee, which I think you should totally doooo because metal-influenced dubstep is bosssssss

Sorry for no post Saturday/Sunday, was too busy!

Jimmy Maverick - Let 'Em Burn EP (Preview)

Howdy-hoooo(es)! Thanks to twitter, my search for music today was fairly quick! After reviewing all the new UKF DnB & Dubstep songs, listening to a bunch of random soundcloud tunes and stuff, I got lucky, you could say! Saw a promotion by DJ Shortee for Heavy Artillery Records (which I believe is partly hers anyway) and everything was in order.

This Jimmy Maverick guy, apparently Ukrainian (waddup White-Ra), released a new EP. It's got some pretty heavy metal influences, and I find that dope as fuck 'cus metal is like the hardest thing on earth.

The first track, "Let 'Em Burn" seems filled with the kind of Excision & Downlink type of dubstep, not all-out metal but you can definitely feel the vibes on the drums and synths, good stuff indeed.
Second track, obviously metal influenced, since it's a remix of the dude's band, named "Jim Jams" (gonna make a band and name it after myself too, pro move). It has that "dubcore" type of swing which seems to be on the rise now. Not keen on "core"-type vocals in general but this tune does it well, so I'm not going to complain! A big fan of the distorted guitar sounds, the wobbly-wobbles are good too, oh and the big snare is genuinely huge.

Proper stuff, Heavy Artillery releases quite a lot of awesome drumstep, dubstep and the likes, so check them out!

Happy friday friday gotta get down on friday everybody.

INTERNET LIVES! (Also, Tomba - Choke on Coke VIP)

I know I already linked this song once as an addition to our first Sunday Wrap-Up, but it just didn't give it enough credit. It's still a tune that dominates my "top 5 dubstep songs of all time list", which it has been doing since the first time I heard it. As an old metal enthusiast I find this awesome as fuck. You can really feel the metal influences in the drop, the screaming synth/vox or whatever it is. Really love the drums, they're amazing, the part after the breakdown with the whole ride action is rank 1 eargasm material.
Tomba always goes hard, anyone who likes this should check out his other stuff! (A tip would be The Goblin and Come out & Play, ballin' tunes).

Also; internet is alive again, blast master flex is back. Expect dope shit errday as usual.
