Nero - Crush On You (Knife Party RMX)

You know, the first time I heard about Knife Party, I thought it was that other band The Knife. And, if you clicked that link, you probably understand why I never investigated further. But! Then I figured out that the persons behind Knife Party was Rob Swire & GarethMcGrillen, both from Pendulum, and I was like, no fucking way those guys are in The Knife 'cus that would be retarded. I looked into Knife Party, and, they're good. After yesterday, mentioning Crush On You and all, I thought for myself "This songs need a drumstep/dnb remix". I searched for it, found this Knife Party remix, and planets aligned.

I must admit, the Nero version isn't top notch, the intro is great but hell, the intro is almost the same in the remix. Knife Party just took the potential of the song, and made it hard as balls. It shows that Rob Swire still knows how to make 'em filthy tunes even though how Pendulum sounds these days, well, you know...

Really, check out Knife Party, I assume they're gonna be big.

Pendulum - The Island (Madeon RMX)

Ok people, like I said yesterday, I had 2 tunes in store for serious postage. Don't hate me now or anything, but I totally forgot the name/author of one. But! Have no fear, Madeon is here. Y'all should be familiar with Madeon by now, but I'm betting there's a few here and there who aren't (which is fine guys 'n girls, you know now!). Seriously though, everyone knows Pendulum right? On their latest(?) album Immersion, there were two tracks called The Island Pt. 1 & The Island Pt. 2. My personal view is that, Pt. 1 is the cheesy part, and Pt. 2 is the incredibly awesome part. Madeon changed all that. This remix made Pt. 1 awesome too, so both parts could be friends without jealousy.

I love all the distinct and diverse arpeggio work, the drums, the vocal mixing, everything about the first section. The part at the end where the wobbles kick in are, well, decent (still better than original Pt. 1, don't stab me Rob Swire). Really though, I must emphasize Madeon's unique sound, but I don't know how. Just listen closely, like, a whole bunch of times, and make up your own version.

Lastly, Madeon, if you read this, remix Pt. 2. Please? For the sake of all that is sacred, and such!

Shock One - Crucify Me (Part 1) (Ft. Phetsta)

Straight from UKF DnBs channel! I didn't upload this because it was brand new, I uploaded it because it's gooood. Shock One is a great DnB producer, some of you might have heard his tune Polygon or his remix of Netsky's song, I Refuse. Pretty much always keeping it crisp.
This song gave me a Pendulum-ish sensation, with a Watercolor feel to it how it starts, the vocal works etc. But after the drop it gets a whole lot grittier, something that Pendulum seems to hide from these days (srsly rabid Pendulum fans don't burn my house down).

Anyways, lovin' this, available to buy 27th of june. All in all, great job Shock One and Phetsta!
