Botnek & 3LAU - Vikings (Aero Chord RMX)

Digging the sound design in this song! Always interested to hear something that sounds new and fresh, with so much stuff getting rehashed all the time. So props to Aero Chord for making a different remix.

Flosstradamus - Total Recall

Great tune from Flosstradamus. Haven't been that keen on that much trap lately, and not from the Floss team either, but I really liked this song which is more heavy on the emotional end rather than the ratchet end!

Loved this tune when I first heard it, and would really like to see it up on Spotify one of these days...

Diplo - Revolution EP

I think Diplo can sometimes swing real wide (which is positive and brave), and sometimes miss by a degree or two, but there are some hits in this release for sure. Really digging Biggie Bounce overall. The vocals on Revolution are great but the full-on trap section is no ground breaker  To me, Crown could use some shaved high-pitch, besides that it's a huge tune.

Rock Steady, well, Action Bronson is the man. Some really good sections in the Boaz van de Beatz remix of Revolution, and TWRK's remix was an alright complement to Biggie Bounce.

I Am Legion (Noisia & Foreign Beggars) - Album Released!

Finally it is here, the long awaited album by I Am Legion, the super-collab group featuring Noisia and Foreign Beggars. Maybe it became silly to name stuff "Noisia feat. Foreign Beggars" so many times that they decided to make a band? I don't know, it was a great move however.

The first single was really something, 'Make Those Move'. I wasn't too riled up by 'Choosing For You', but interesting to hear some new ground being broken. The full effect of I Am Legion is very heavy in any case, and there's plenty to go around with 16 tracks on this album. Sunken Submarines and Warp Speed Thuggin' are my favorites for now!

Get on Amazon, Beatport or listen on Spotify!

Houcemate x The Ninteys - Overture

Not a perfect tune perhaps, but I still like it a lot. A different twist on trap as well, more melodic, it's nice to hear.

BUKEZ FINEZT - DISHES

Stumbled upon this trap joint. Groovy, very. I like the simplicity of it. Some confident stuff from an artist that is new to me, but I will surely keep an eye on this here Bukez.

A real nice remix of a song that you all have probably heard many goddamn times by now.

Jay Z - Dirt Off Your Shoulder (Brillz & Z Trip RMX)

If you feelin' like a pimp, have a listen to this remix from Brillz and Z Trip. Not a lot of good or interesting trap being made really, according to me, but this feels fresh. Nail on the head etc. Nice use of vocal melodies, and the tune has managed the "gangsta" vibe that I think is essential to trap.

It's featured in this mix called "Trap Nation", full of exclusive trap remixes, courtesy of "Life+Times". Take a listen to that in its entirety here.

FuntCase - Out For Da Milli

An interesting tune from FuntCase. Got excited for this one after hearing it in Bro Safari's ULTRA mix. FuntCase has his own sound for sure, which I appreciate. I saw him perform live like one or two years ago and it was one of the best shows I've ever attended.

Bro Safari - The Drop + Kreayshawn - Go Hard (Valentino Khan RMX)

Awesome free release from Bro Safari today. He's on another level constantly, definitely a favorite!

For some reason I couldn't copy the download link so you'll have to download it via the SoundCloud page!

I don't know why I have not posted this here yet. It started auto-playing and it reminded me that I should've done it a long time ago since it's a great remix. Consider it a bonus or something.

A boner-bonus.

thank you everybody for coming to the comedy show you have all been amazing

Valentino Khan - The Dip

Here's a free one from Valentino Khan. Lately he's been dropping a trap tune every Thursday, to commemorate what I assume is his own creation, "Trap Thursdays". Yes, yes, I know, it's Friday today, but whatever. The theme of this song fits a Friday better anyway. Get out there and get at dat dere dip.

Munchi - Vol. I: Skulltrap

Some seriously rough and redonculous music from Munchi. 4 songs filled to the brim with intensity, breaks and madness. I really like this kind of electronic music, and I think there needs to be more of it.

Sidney Samson - Get Low (Kennedy Jones RMX) | Kennedy Jones - Tutch Drap

This is a great remix. Quality trap indeed. From the other tunes I heard, I'm sure Kennedy Jones will be a name that's going to be getting a lot more attention.

Adding this one as well, since I thought it was a real smooth tune!

I'm starting to wonder if I've sustained some brain damage, since I can't listen to trap without wondering when it's going to say "damn son, where'd you find this?".
